Recommended Hair Stylist - Stone & Co

Updated: Mar 7

We met Chelsey, Liam and some of the staff at the Bluewater Wedding fair a while back and instantly connected with them all. They are all great and very friendly, We would highly recommend Chelsey and her team for any event for hair styling.

Chelsey even sat Jaclyn down and did a hair style on her that looked AMAZING, something that Jaclyn wouldn't of even thought to of asked for as she didn't think it would suit her, but it really did and she looked amazing. Chelsey advised her what she thought would look great with the shape of her face and Jaclyn loved it!

Jaclyn will be getting her bridal party ready by Chelsey for our wedding.

I have 11 years experience as a stylist.

I started my Hairdressing journey at the age of 15, straight away I knew I had a passion for hair. In 2008 I qualified to become a stylist on shop floor for the salon I worked for at that time.

I completed both my Level 2 & 3 hairdressing qualifications.

I love the diversity of my job, the endless creativity within the Industry.

Something I Love doing is styling hair, whether it’s creating that red carpet look or a beautiful hair up style for that Special Occasion.

“The only way to do great work is to love what you do” I get to make people feel wonderful about themselves!

How many jobs can you think of where you can help people look and feel amazing.

No two days will ever be the same!

I get to meet new people, learn new skills and techniques and be creative.

Every one of my clients requirements is unique to both my client and I.

  • Top tips for weddings

- Stay true to yourself

Lots of brides do something completely different with their hair on their wedding day.

When you walk down the aisle, you don’t want your groom to look at you at the altar and think that you look completely different to the girl he’s in love with, so stay true to yourself!

- Try before you buy

Organising a hair trial is key to making sure you get the look you want for the big day.

When you go for your trial, take pictures of your dress with you, so your hair stylist can give you the best advice and suggest the most relevant styles that work with your dress and the feel of your wedding dress

- Stay healthy

Keep your hair healthy by applying deep conditioning treatments every fortnight in the months leading up to your wedding.

This will keep your hair shiny, moisturised and fully nourished, so your hair is full of va-va-voom on the day.

- Keep it tidy

If you’re growing your hair, make sure you book into the salon for a tidy up every six to eight weeks to ensure your hair stays healthy.

Keeping the ends of your hair healthy and free of split ends will actually promote growth, not stunt it.

- Get in shape

If you have short hair, have it cut the week before the wedding, this will make sure the shape is fresh!

With longer hair, have it cut any time in the last three weeks running up to your wedding day, as this will get rid of any wispy or straggly ends, making sure your hair looks thick and healthy.

- Vibrant colours

Sometimes your hair takes a couple of weeks to settle into a colour.

To avoid that just- coloured look, getting this done a week or two before your wedding will make sure your hair is looking fresh, vibrant and at its best.

It's Your Big Day, Be Camera Ready And Picture Perfect.
